WHY PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR GRIEF

Let’s be honest…
One of the loneliest parts of grief isn’t always the loss itself.
Sometimes it’s feeling like nobody understands what you’re carrying.
People mean well.
They tell you to stay strong. Keep busy. Focus on the future.
And while their intentions are good…
it can leave you feeling even more alone.
Because the truth is…
They’re not carrying what you’re carrying.
They’re not living with the memories. The reminders. The empty chair. The changed future.
You are.
I remember someone saying to me,
“Everyone else seems to have moved on… but I still think about them every day.”
And that feeling can make you wonder if something’s wrong with you.
But there isn’t.
The reality is this:
Other people experienced your loss.
You experience your grief.
And those aren’t always the same thing.
Just because someone else isn’t carrying it the way you are… doesn’t mean your grief is too much.
It means your relationship mattered.
I unpack this in today’s short video
You are not alone in this.
From the valley to the victory…
keep moving forward.
