The biggest mistake

THE BIGGEST MISTAKE

July 12, 20262 min read

One of the biggest mistakes I see after loss isn't crying. It isn't struggling. It isn't having bad days. It's believing you have to figure everything out on your own.

Over the past twenty years, I've noticed something. People rarely stay stuck because they're weak. They stay stuck because they become isolated. They stop talking. They stop asking for help. They convince themselves they should be "doing better by now." And slowly... they begin carrying a burden they were never meant to carry alone.

The sad part is that many people think time will fix it. So they wait. Weeks become months. Months become years. And while life moves forward around them... they feel like they're standing still.

But healing doesn't usually happen because enough time passes. Healing happens when we begin taking intentional steps. One conversation. One healthy habit. One encouraging voice. One practical action. One day at a time.

That's why I believe healing isn't an event. It's a journey. A journey made up of hundreds of small decisions that slowly rebuild your confidence, your hope, and your future.

And here's something I've realised from the hundreds of emails and text messages many of you have sent me over the past few months...

So many of you have said, "I just wish I had someone to walk beside me." That stayed with me. It became the reason I completely redesigned the way I help people. Instead of asking people to commit to a large program, I've created something much simpler.

The 30-Day Healing Experience.

One practical step each day. Weekly live coaching. A supportive community. Practical resources. A simple pathway to help you keep moving forward. Because I don't believe anyone should have to navigate grief alone.
